About this series

The Wisconsin Union Theater is excited to invite you to be part of the 105th year of our celebrated classical music series. This season, enjoy timeless works from renowned composers and modern interpretations that push classical into the present. Highlights include the return of GRAMMY-Award-winning violinist Gil Shaham, accompanied by Orli Shaman; a collaboration between Eighth Blackbird and the UW Wind Ensemble; and the reinvented all-male cappella ensemble Chanticleer.

We are pleased to share the 2024-2025 Classical Series with our subscribers and give you the first chance to renew! From Thursday, May 2 to Sunday, May 19, existing subscribers have the exclusive first chance to renew their subscription and guarantee their same seats for the 2024-2025 Classical Series. Renewals will open on this page starting May 2 and new subscription sales open to the public on May 28. If you have any questions, please contact the box office at (608) 265-2787.
 

Renewals are available now! See the directions below to easily renew your subscription online if you would like the exact same seats as last season. You can also renew your subscription by calling the box office at (608) 265-2787 during our business hours of Monday - Friday 2 - 6 pm. If you need help accessing your account or changing your password please call the box office for assistance. 

How To Renew Online

  1. 1. Scroll down to the bottom of this page and find your chosen package and price level (6 show series, 2 possible add-on events, 3 price levels) and click the "Buy" button
  2. 2. Enter the quantity of subscriptions you'd like to purchase
  3. 3. Enter any seating preferences you have - same seats as last year, aisle, ADA, etc. We will do our best to meet these requests in the order they are received.
  4. 4. After submitting payment you will receive a confirmation email and you are set!
  5. 5. A second confirmation email confirming your seat locations will be sent in late May. 
All tickets will be mailed in early September in plenty of time for the first show.  See you on September 26!
 
  • -Seating Zone A | $346-Enjoy prime seating in orchestra and lower balcony.
  • -Seating Zone B | $274-Save more with excellent seating in left and right orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony.
  • -Seating Zone C | $202-The most affordable way to subscribe and save with mezzanine or balcony seating.

*These concerts will take place in Shannon Hall's intimate setup, all seating will be in the Orchestra & Mezzanine levels. Balcony seating will not be open. 
**Eighth Blackbird with UW Wind Ensemble will take place in Hamel Music Center's Mead Witter Foundation Concert Hall. Seating will be general admission.  

-All events, except Eighth Blackbird with UW Wind Ensemble, will have reserved seating.
-All tickets will be mailed in early September.
